The appointment

Full details of your medical and family history are taken.

You will be asked to describe your experience of your illness, your preferences for warmth or cold; your sleep pattern; food tastes; how you are affected by seasons & weather; you will be asked what you like, what scares you, your tendencies to specific bodily reactions, colour, odour & texture of discharges.

There is plenty of time to ask any questions you may have, and to voice any concerns.

At the end of the consultation, sometimes a prescription will be made for you directly. Other times, your case needs to be analysed further according to homeopathic principles, a prescription is made later and sent on to you. If this is the case, there is no extra charge for postage.

Follow-up appointments vary between 2-6 weeks depending on the problem. Most people come monthly. Follows are generally shorter 25- 45 mins, up to an hour.

Again, there is no rush and ample opportunity to discuss how you have been, and how you feel your treatment has gone, in the time since your last appointment.

Children’s appointments are often shorter.
